Love and lovers are, of course, both strange and

without reason. Both of us are a question which has no

answer. You know how to touch my heart and use

words without which I cannot be entertained. You are

a song that requires no lips and without your heart

mine is afraid. Without each other we are but

strangers but we are, of course, lovers.



... And very much so, for I love  you with a sincere

heart for unhappiness between us could never be -

a disagreement would be settled in minutes... 

who said minutes? In seconds would be settled. Lovers?

Very much are we so. We adore one another? Yes, very

much is it so. In this world none are like us, not like

our  hearts,  nor our  love.  Nobody,  except,  of

course...lovers. Oh! nights...



Before I knew my lover I remained unaware of my

life, and felt not my years, for what meaning have

years when the heart is sad. What does age mean

when the heart neither feels happiness nor sorrow?

What meaning hath the world since it slips through

my fingers without my feeling it? But now it is over

I have the time to speak of it .
